Pacific Rim - The Mega-Kaiju

AKA My favorite part of the movie (besides John Boyega), and the only kaiju I can clearly remember from the top of my head in the movie. I really wish the others had more 'stand-out' appearances compared to this guy, but I felt like they only showed up for the sole purpose of making this guy, compared to the unique and eye-catching creature designs of the original Pacific Rim.

Sigh, but hey! At least this guy's badass!

For this one, I tried to do something I've never done before, namely shade... but NOT using a lot of black in a comic-book fashion. Instead I wanted to use greys and be minimalist with my colors. Also tried using perspective with the right arm.
