Megaraptor's (Possible) New Family

Description

Last year we found out a new and exciting discovery that turns out that Megaraptor may be closer to the tyrannosaurs than ever before (this was the only quality ease-for-access news-article I could find about it, the rest were mostly educational pdfs). This position is still controversial, but due to the discovery of a juvenile megaraptor head that was very, very tyrannosaur-like in proportions, the chance of reclassification just became much stronger.

I've always found it funny of how everyone loves making fun of the large Tyrannosaurids arms (of which I am also very guilty of) but if Megaraptor joins the family, she would have been a bizarre inverse of the usual large Tyrannosaurid build, small, lightly built head, massive clawed hands. All the while everyone (unless you're a dino enthusiast) mostly ignore the large Abelisaurs, an underrated group o' dinos whose hands are even more dinky and useless... If megaraptor will indeed be included amongst the big Tyrants, we aaaaaaall which family we're gonna make fun of next for arm dinkiness...

The sorta sequel to this piece (with the same T.rex!), I wanted this to be done earlier, but then life happened, and I had to prepare for lotsa things that were very important for school, not to mention that I'm sketching more than ever and becoming more serious in going back to my roots (animals, figure drawings and such). Speaking of which, this was one! Turns out I've been outta practice in regards to the anatomy of other dinosaurs that are not heavilly-built theropods, as well as the hassle of choosing the colors for each dinosaur.

On the dinosaurs themselves, my first (hasty) attempt at the Abelisaurs! Including what's supposed to be Ekrixinatosaurus until we learnt he wasn't as big as we thought, so just think of him as that African Abelisaur that still has no name. Also the two smaller rex types are supposed to be Nanuqsaurus and Teratophoneus... but I think they can be substituted with any more-feathered than average or short robust tyrannosaur in my opinion.
